Electricial Home Inspections:
At Boss Electric our Home Electrical Inspections, include a thorough inspection of your attic. What we are mainly concerned with are, what is known as
Flying Splices.
Flying splices are where electrical wires are joined or spliced together without being in a UL/Approved junction box.
This is actually more common than most people realize, and are usually the result of a home owner or non-licensed electrician adding a light or a ceiling fan to an existing circut.
Although the addition to this circut works, the danger of fire or electrocution exist. All electrical joints are required to be in a junction box that is sized for that amount of wires to reduce heat and the danger of electrocution and or fire.
Circut Overloads
At Boss electric we also check all the outlets in your home to insure there are no loose wires and that the correct outlet or switch is properly installed.
Also we check to make sure the correct wire size is on the correct breaker or fuse size.
To many times a home owner will try to save money, and when a breaker or fuse keeps tripping they will install the next size fuse or breaker, not realizing the wire is only good for a certian amperage also resulting in fire.
All our technician's are knowlegeable of the new Electricial Codes that are now in place. When it comes to electricity "Your Safety is our #1 Concern".
We pride ourself in customer satisfaction and quality of workmanship. To view some of our lighting projects visit our (Portfolio).
