We feel this is a safer application than overhead wiring. when wiring is in conduit it is easier to add circuts and replace circuts that may go bad. Also there is no chance of the wires getting damaged due to any animals that might find there way into attics or above drop ceilings.
Running conduits in the concrete slab returns a cleaner more professional looking job. In the end professionalism and the final look of the project says alot about the contractor.

Underground Conduit Applications
At Boss Electric we prefer running conduit as opposed to direct burial cable for the simple reason there is not that much difference in cost, and the wires stay protected longer.
It is much easier to cut a wire not in a conduit than one inside a conduit. If the conduit were to be cut, the installation of a junction box, and the simple matter of splicing the wires together rather than having to replace the entire length of the wire.
Another good reason to install conduit is around driveways and where the wires might cross under sidewalks, to insure the wires do not get damaged due to a edger or even a home owner planting a flower or tree.
